CASPR is a continuous disinfectant solution that works in your school, home or work setting to disinfect the environment of harmful pathogens such as the SARS COV-2 --a single stranded RNA virus that is responsible for COVID-19.
Like all CASPR Group solutions, the CASPR In-Duct units are easily installed, require no operator or chemicals, are low maintenance, and run continuously.
CASPR In-Duct
CASPR In-Duct units are installed in your HVAC supply where they utilize ambient air to create active molecules, including hydrogen peroxide. These molecules then exit your HVAC ducts, circulate the targeted area, and land on all surfaces providing continuous micro-burden reductions. CASPR is up to 99.96% effective against molds, bacteria, and viruses, and has the added benefit of reducing odors and VOCs. Once these bad pathogens are neutralized at the cellular level, the oxidizing molecules created by CASPR then revert back to their original state (hydrogen and oxygen).
CASPR In-Duct solutions come in a variety of sizes; each is designed to target a specific amount of square footage with the appropriate Parts Per Million (PPM) of active molecules. The levels generated are effective against harmful pathogens but safe for people, pets, and plants. Depending on the solution, the device will cover 400, 1000, 2500, or 5000 square feet. Installation can be completed by any licensed HVAC professional, and is a quick and easy process.
How It Works
For installation, you simply drill a 3.5-inch hole into the side of your HVAC, insert the unit, plug it in, and turn it on. Installation can typically be done by the purchaser or an HVAC professional. An electrician will have to be hired if there is not a wall outlet within reach of the cord.
CASPR Mobile
CASPR Mobile is our plug and play solution. Once you plug into your wall out and turn it on, it is ready for continuous, 24/7 use. The device comes in one size but has adjustable settings to cover as few as 250 square feet and up to 1,500 square feet. A remote control is included to allow for easy adjustments to your unit. A combination of CASPR Mobile devices can be used to cover greater than 1,500 square feet.
Behind the technology
CASPR’s Natural Catalytic Conversion utilizes a multi-wavelength ultraviolet light to illuminate a target surface.
The target surface is a honeycomb matrix treated with a proprietary photocatalytic coating. Together, the technology converts H2O and O2 in the air into safe but effective levels of Hydroxyl Radicals (OH-), Oxygen ions (O2-) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2). The CASPR technology produces no ozone.
CASPR works with the ambient air in your environment to create oxidizing molecules, like hydrogen peroxide. The molecules neutralize molds, viruses, bacteria, odors, and VOCs, at the cellular level then revert back to hydrogen and oxygen molecules. There is no build up of hydrogen peroxide; the technology is safe to use in occupied spaces. Every CASPR units provides up to 99.96% kill rate in air and on surfaces.
